Master Lessons give students of OMTA Teachers an opportunity to take a one-time piano lesson given by a master teacher. Teachers are encouraged to attend and observe the lesson.
Our own Karen McClellan has agreed to serve as our Master Teacher this year. Karen received her Bachelors degree in Music Education and Piano Performance from Southern Nazarene University in 1968, and earned her Masters degree in Music Performance from Emporia State Universityin 1970. She taught at piano and piano pedagogy atMid-AmericaNazareneUniversityfrom 1968 until her retirement earlier this year. Currently, Karen is serving as adjunct faculty forMid-AmericaNazareneUniversity, and maintains a private piano studio.
