The Olathe Music Teacher’s Association (OMTA) is a group of local private music teachers striving for excellence in their own abilities as instructors of the arts.  All the teachers come highly qualified in their area of expertise, continually seek growth as musicians, and strive to encourage students in their growth.

We use our organization to network, inform and help each other handle challenges that the private music studio teacher faces.   OMTA meets monthly to provide teachers with a time for open discussion of these issues and for ongoing teacher education.
